Hi we're Karl & Jude

We took over Fairlight Lodge in September 2019, moving out of London and looking for a less hectic pace of life. 

We met whilst working in Rotterdam for a shipping company some 20+ years ago.  Working in shipping and in IT, meant we have both travelled all over the world for business so we understand the needs of business travellers!

We've also travelled a lot for leisure - we've scuba dived in many places and also travelled to different triathlon races.

We love being active and have both completed many triathlons as well as cycling sportives and events and various running races too.  Karl was delighted to be part of the Age-Group GBR team at the European Sprint Championships in Kazan (Russia) in 2019.

During lockdown, Jude rediscovered her love of playing music from younger years and can now sometimes be heard practising her recorder during the day.

We live here with our cat Chi, who is a bit shy so unlikely to be seen much!
